About The Owner
Selena Watkins is a dancer, coach, fitness motivator, wellness champion and holistic enthusiast. A veteran in the industry, Selena has been teaching dance and fitness for over ten years. She has danced and choreographed for the NBA Brooklyn Nets Dance team and has performed in movies and with music artists including Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, Janelle Monae and more. Once crowned Miss Black USA, Selena became an advocate for fitness, health and wellness on a grand scale. This journey led her to appear on the cover of Women’s Health Magazine as their 2016 Next Fitness Star. Selena is an overall movement advocate and evangelist because it 'increases the longevity and quality of our lives.’ She believes that we have to be active participants in our lives. “If you want something, come up with a plan and go get it..then set it in your mind that failure is not an option.” With this mindset of living an action-based life, Selena has become an inspiration to thousands of women and men. Selena is also an instructor at the widely known fitness boutique, SoulCycle; an adjunct lecturer at Rutgers University and Creator of the caribbean dance fitness program, Socanomics.
